Posting Date Restriction
Configure the posting-date window for SAP postings. When enabled, previous month's posting dates are only allowed within the first N working days of the current month based on the rules below.
When on, every posting date restriction on this screen is removed. Financial Period Closing still applies.
Unrestricted Mode is off. The posting date settings below will be enforced.
Unrestricted Mode is on. No posting date restrictions will be enforced. Any past date can be selected. Future dates and Financial Period Closing still apply.
The settings below are ignored while Unrestricted Mode is on. They are kept and will apply again when it is turned off.
When off, any date from the 1st of the previous month up to today can be selected.
Note: Even when this setting is off, the posting date must still fall between
the 1st of the previous month and today.
Earlier dates are rejected when marking for posting, and future dates are never allowed.
To allow any past date, turn on Unrestricted Mode.
Number of working days at the start of the month when previous month's posting date selection is allowed.
Days of the week that count towards the posting window. Select at least one.
When enabled, public holidays are excluded from the working-day count.
